Purchasing the Liberty XL2 : The Process

While purchasing an aircraft is a big decision, Liberty promises to make it as seamless and enjoyable as flying our aircraft.  A typical purchase runs as follows -

Contact
Whether you contact us by e-mail or phone (800-759-5953), a Liberty Aerospace representative will go through your requirements and determine your aircraft needs.  Details on your flight experience and intended usage will help match those requirements to the wide-ranging capabilities of the Liberty XL2.

Take Flight
With the initial information in hand, the next step is to schedule a meeting and demonstration flight in the aircraft. Liberty sales representatives regularly travel the country on regional Liberty XL2 Tours.  You will be notified when the tour makes a visit to your local airport, and you will be invited to schedule an appointment for a demonstration.  Here, the Liberty representative will take you through a complete presentation of the XL2 and provide you with an opportunity to personally experience this revolutionary aircraft.

Factory Visit
For those of you who do not wish to wait for the Liberty XL2 Tour to come to your area, or if you wish to take a broader look at the XL2 and the company behind it, we invite you to visit our factory in Melbourne, Florida.  Here you can see our newly constructed corporate headquarters and our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.  What better way to see how extraordinary the XL2 truly is than viewing it inside-out and through every step of the construction process?  Also remember to ask your Liberty sales representative for details on our travel costs reimbursement program.
Liberty Aerospace is located on the Melbourne International Airport in sunny Central Florida and in close proximity to the Kennedy Space Center, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. 

Order Placement
Once you have experienced the Liberty XL2 firsthand and made your decision to acquire the worlds most modern 2-place trainer & touring aircraft, it’s time to place your order.  A Liberty representative will present you with various customizing options including interior color, exterior graphics, GPS Navigation and other avionics packages, and help you choose those that fit your flying requirements and lifestyle.  The details are agreed upon and placed in writing in a standard buyer’s contract.  Financing and insurance options are also offered as required.

Due to the immense popularity of the XL2, there is currently a strong backlog of orders.  However, with our production capacity now increasing you are realistically only a few months away from enjoying your very own Liberty aircraft.  A down payment of 10%, or a 1% initial deposit with scheduled monthly deposit payments, allows us to start building your personalized XL2.

The Transaction  
Most deliveries take place in Melbourne, Florida at the Liberty Customer Delivery Center just across the tarmac from the Melbourne International Airport concourse.  After completion of the formal paperwork, this visit is focused on getting you completely familiar with your new Liberty XL2.

Flight Training
Flight training consists of two days in our Flight Training Department, where ground School, FADEC systems, the Pilot Information Manual and three hours of in-depth flight training are covered.  The final step is a check-flight in your aircraft to insure your comfort and safety for your trip home.

Departure
Congratulations! The wait is now over and you can lift off from Melbourne in your new XL2 as the newest member of the Liberty XL2 family!
